4/30/2025 - Great Lakes National Cemetery

Today our small crew went to Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan to film an interview with their Director, Andre Logan, and to capture an array of b-roll footage throughout the facility. It was a beautiful and peaceful day. After interviewing 25 WWII veterans, it was quite sad and humbling to witness the final resting place of 6 heroes whom we had filmed and gotten to know over the past few years. The plan is to come back on May 7 with our high school class to capture their experiences at this historic place.
